Verse 1

I sit alone on an island in the clouds
at peace feel the breeze as I take a look around
hear the sound of nature, birds chirp water flowing
in a stream nearby floats a leaf far from knowing
where it's going, this is what life's about
we carried by the current but the ripples shape the route
out to stretch my wings like a moth from a cocoon's flight
a samurai's silhouette shimmers in the moonlight
so I take it as a sign
we think our eyes' open but we still quite blind
face to face with time while the hands of a clock tick
look out for my people cuz birds in flock stick
together, fighting on the front line
but weather changes know again you'll see the sunshine
fun times give us hope become strength in the darkness
never giving up see the proof in my scarred fists

sharpen swords oil blades stay ready for action
shit is fire I don't play like a good kid with matches
you need the facts then I'll break down like fractions
got pieces to the puzzle though they seem to fit backwards
why follow suit I hold a hand full of wild cards
diamond in the rough since a child with style, heart
